Barcelona Baby: The Photos - Part 1

Another day another train journey - that's what the first half of my big trip around Europe seemed to consist of! This time a six hour journey through the luscious French countryside before arriving in the vibrant and upbeat city of Barcelona, the first country on my European summer odyssey that I have had yet to ever visit, how exciting. My family and I spent four days in a chic apartment just off the main strip, Las Ramblas, where we set off each day to see the likes of: Gaudi's Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia, Fountain of Montjuic, Las Ramblas and the beautiful Fort of Montjuic - I honestly recommend sightseeing at dusk as you'll get to see some of the most Instagram-able sunsets in Spain. Barcelona was our last stop before embarking on our 12 day Mediterranean cruise with Holland America, and although my visit was short and sweet, this city was packed with beautiful people, a colourful culture and a vibrancy for life that only one could imagine. Now I can't wait to start saving my pennies again so I can return to explore the rest that sexy Spain has to offer!
